Here is little Miss Stella at 6 months. This was shot on location at her home. Mom and Dad were very close by and she was very happy the entire shoot.
Stella at 6 Months
•September 27, 2010 • Leave a CommentHand Written Thank You via Snail Mail-I LOVE IT!
•September 27, 2010 • Leave a CommentNot much to say here except I love a thoughtfully written thank you note in my MAILbox. I could have received the “thanks” days before by email but it just doesn’t have the staying power. This note was written by Mandy and Ben when I took their newborn baby’s photo in the hospital. Stella was born 6 months ago. I STILL have the thank you note on my bulletin board in my office. (with a few other thanks that date back a few years!) I just did baby Stella’s 6 month portrait last week. Email “thanks!” get the job done for sure, but hand written thank you cards give warm fuzzies!

•October 19, 2009 • Leave a CommentBring on More Babies! I might be hooked. This was my second attempt at baby photography. What I have learned this far, if you set out to take sleeping baby photos, sleep will be the last thing on their mind. This little baby slept for a total of 5 minutes. But I do like this shot.

Wedding Day Weather Drama!
•September 29, 2009 • Leave a CommentLast saturday the weather played the drama card. The day started by getting caught in a thunderstorm with my husband and our dog. I goaded him into joining me on my walk and the first mile he said we are gonna get caught in the rain about three times. ”Nonsense! We’ll beat it!”I chimed in trying to stay positive. The rain and the lightning caught up with us less than a mile from out house. As we waited to be rescued by a friend (thanks Jen!) I thought “gee, not good wedding weather!) But by the time I got to the wedding location there were beautiful blue skies with big dramatic white puffy clouds. The puffy clouds turned to thunderheads again and the wedding ceremony was delayed 30 minutes. Boo!~Wedding delay! But look at the rainbow that was the backdrop for some of our photos. And how cute is the groom holding up the brides train?? Congrats to Kristin and Darren and Best Wishes on your new life together.
Congrats to The Cougars
